- We must disclose entities to whom we (1) “sell” personal information; or (2) “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. The CCPA defines a “sale” as disclosing personal information to a third party for monetary or other benefits. A third party may be considered as such if its use of personal information is not for an enumerated business purpose under California law or if its contract does not restrict it from other uses. A disclosure is not a sale if it is authorized by you or does not meet this definition. We are not required to list infrequent disclosures or those not considered “sales” or “sharing” under the law.
